KY-018 light sensor - Photoresistor

KY-018 photosensitive sensor is a sensor for detecting light and changes in light intensity. Very sensitive.

Photoresistor module is used to signal the presence or absence of light.

Light sensor module allows easy detection of light levels from Arduino controller.

The module consists of a photoresistor (5 MOhm darkness, up to about 20 Ohm light), which changes its resistance depending on the level of light intensity, and a 10 KOhm resistor.

Connecting the power supply, on the signal pin we get a variable voltage value depending on the intensity of light, for example, with a power supply of 5V when the sensor is maximally illuminated at the output we get 0V, and this value increases to 5V as less and less light falls on the sensor.
