The Creality CR-10 Smart 3D printer is an evolution of the CR-10 series, unveiled in April 2021 on the occasion of the manufacturer's seventh anniversary. The novelties of this “Smart” edition are as follows: “intelligent” Wifi and Ethernet, advanced auto-leveling as on the CR-6 SE, 32-bit motherboard and silent drivers. The CR-10 Smart extruder is “full metal” unlike previous generations.

It uses the reinforced double Z axis for more stability and quiet fans that lower the sound volume during printing. The maximum print volume remains at 300 x 300 x 400 mm with an accuracy of 100 microns minimum. The Bowden extruder goes up to 260°C to melt PLA, TPU and ABS, when the heating plate can reach 100°C.

Advanced Wi-Fi allows the Creality CR10 Smart to be remotely controlled to start prints and even slice a 3D model from the Creality Cloud App mobile application. Cura remains the recommended slicer software on Windows, macOS and Linux distribution. Ethernet connectivity is also standard. The 4.3-inch screen with interface translated into 9 languages will go to sleep after 30 minutes of inactivity, in order to consume less energy while preserving its lifespan.
In the same vein, the “Intelligent CR-10” automatically turns off at the end of printing after the nozzle has cooled.
